Under the programme, each beneficiary is expected to receive approximately 20 shares through the Dangote Initial Public Offering, in collaboration with the state ministries of Humanitarian Affairs and Finance, as well as the Zamfara Investment Company.
The programme will be coordinated by the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Salisu Musa Tsafe Kainuwa.
According to the ministry, the beneficiaries will be drawn from the state’s 14 local government areas, with 2,261 beneficiaries allocated to each of 13 local government areas, while Gusau, the state capital, will have 4,522 beneficiaries.
