THE International Association Of World Peace Advocates IAWPA has announced the list of it’s delegates that will attend the forthcoming United Nations International Day of the Girl Child billed to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on Friday 11th October 2024.
A statement signed by the association’s International Spokesman and Chief Contact Person Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke and made available to newsmen by its Director of Media and Publicity Amb. Nwokoma Messiah, said Amb. Mrs Amaba Sam-Ogbuku will lead the group which will also comprise other Eminent Peace Ambassadors from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Kenya including the African Director of IAWPA Amb John Metchie.
Amb. Nkweke said the International Day of the Girl Child will afford the association the opportunity of letting the world know the challenges faced by the African Girl Child and what is being done to preserve their rights including their social rights as humans.

The statement said Miss Crystal Enato Sam-Ogbuku whose rising profile as a promoter of the rights of the Girl Child is well documented. She is an inductee of the International Association of World Peace Advocates IAWPA Global Children Parliament and gas spoken in lots of events on the plight of the female child.
The statement said this year’s message which seeks to amplifying girls’ voices, and recommit to working together to build a world where every girl can lead and thrive is apt especially for the African Girl Child who has been inhibited due to cultural and social inhibitions.
The Country Director of the assoviation in Denmark, Amb. Dr. Blessing Palmberg said all arrangements have been made for the success of the summit adding that IAWPA in Denmark is reaching out to major stakeholders that will participate in the summit including UN offices in the country.
She also pointed out that the summit will give children the opportunity to voice out the areas of their needs to the United Nations as that will be a great feat that will be credited to the association.
