PRIME College (PC) was established in the commercial city of Kano in August 1995, marking three decades of dedicated service to primary and secondary education in Kano.

    His Royal Highness

Over this period, the school has grown from very modest beginnings to an institution renowned for its excellence, contributing significantly to the educational development of Kano State.

Throughout its history, PC has educated generations of Nigerian and international students, many of whom now thrive in various fields from medicine and engineering to technology and public service both within Nigeria and abroad.

    UBA

Over the years, PC has built an alumni network of thousands of successful professionals who contribute in one way or another to their societies and communities.

In recent years, Prime College has maintained a record of outstanding academic results:

    Independence Day

•A consistent 100% pass rate in IGCSE, WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and the Canadian OSSD diploma.

•Over 80% of results are distinctions across these examinations annually.

    Happy Birthday

•The top student nationwide in English Language (2023).

These accomplishments are a testament to our school’s culture of excellence, investment in qualified teachers, and unwavering commitment to student success.

PC alumni not only excel academically but do so with the respect and integrity instilled in them at PC. These values are reflected in the school’s ethos, which promotes inclusivity, honesty, hard work, and honor among students.

Consistent with its founding principles, Prime College remains committed to inclusivity, offering scholarship programs for disadvantaged children.

According to UNICEF, Kano State has approximately 989,234 out-of-school children. One media article cites that in Kano, about 240,766 girls are not in primary school.

These challenges are not insurmountable. With close collaboration between the government and private educational institutions in the state, guided by fair and appropriate policies, we can drive investment in infrastructure and improve the quality of education in the sector.

The Kano State Government has demonstrated its support for education and institutions in the state to address these issues and bring much-needed developmental change.

Prime College remains steadfast in its mission of delivering high-quality education and serving as a pillar of development for Kano State.

    Rano Capital

We are committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to overcome these challenges and ensure a brighter future for the children of Kano, fostering growth, progress, and national development.
