ONDO State governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has nominated a former Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly (DCNA), Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami, as the deputy governor of the state.
News Point Nigeria reports that the nomination of Adelami is coming barely six hours after the state governor dissolved the State Executive Council (SEC) on Wednesday.
Adelami’s nomination as Deputy Governor is subject to screening and confirmation by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
