AMINU Kano College of Islamic and Legal studies (AKCIKS), Kano, has secured Senate approval of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State to start degree programs.
Upon the approval given by the Senate of the University, AKCILS is now allowed to commence degree program and award degree certificate in affiliation of the approved University in due course.
The approval according to the Press Statement issued and signed by the Public Relations Officer of the College, Dr. Salisu Marafa Sagagi, was followed by vigorous srutiny and series of inspections made by the affiliation inspection team of the University, and assured that the College met all the requirements and standard of the affiliation principles of the University.
The degree programs to start with in the 2023/2024 academic session commencing in June 2024 are:
1.B. A Ex English
2. B. Arabic
3. B. A Islamic Studies
4. B. A Hausa
5. B. A ED (GUidamce and Counseling)
6. B. A ED (Educational Planning and Administration)
7. B. Sc Computer Sciences
8. B. Sc Economic
“While assuring the general public of good qualitative and conducive academic atmosphere in all the degree programs to be run, the Management of the College looks forward to receive potential applicant when the admission exercise begins in due course”, the statement read.
