PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded Hadiza Bala-Usman, his Special Adviser on Policy Coordination and Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU), for her outstanding contributions to public service as she marked her 50th birthday.
In a statement sent to News Point Nigeria by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Bala-Usman as a “dedicated patriot” whose nearly three decades of service have exemplified diligence, sacrifice, and commitment to national development.
The President highlighted Bala-Usman’s early career at the Bureau of Public Enterprises, where she displayed exceptional clarity of vision and an acute understanding of structural reforms critical for economic growth.
He also praised her leadership roles at the Abuja Enterprise Agency and the Nigerian Ports Authority, describing them as defining milestones in her career where she “broke barriers, raised standards, and strengthened accountability in public administration.”
“In her current role as Special Adviser and Head of the CRDCU, Hadiza continues to distinguish herself as an astute public administrator through discipline, clear thinking, and a firm focus on results,” the statement said.
President Tinubu further commended her political contributions, particularly within the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that her efforts in party organisation and institutional development have bolstered internal processes, promoted excellence, and reinforced democratic values.
“Hadiza’s efforts have helped strengthen the governance framework, improve evidence-based performance, and enhance the realisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda. I thank her for her single-minded commitment to our administration and national service,” President Tinubu said.
He concluded by wishing Bala-Usman continued strength, wisdom, good health, and grace, noting that her career remains an inspiration to women, young people, and emerging leaders across Nigeria.
