THE Directorate of Local Government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council has appointed Hon Muslihu Yusuf Ali, Councillor representing Gurungawa Ward, Kumbotso Local Govt of Kano state as National Deputy Ward Coordinator (North).
This was disclosed in an appointment letter signed by Director, APC PCC, Local Government Directorate, Hon Alabi Kolade David, made available to News Point Nigeria, Friday.
According to the letter, Muslihu’s appointment is a recognition for his hard work, competence, commitment and loyalty to the party.
The Letter reads in part: “It is therefore expected that you will discharge this responsibility passionately and efficiently”.
“Your role as the Deputy Ward Coordinator North of the wards and polling units segments of our campaign is very strategic and vital to ensuring our collective victory of the party in the February 2023 general elections.
“You are by this appointment, directed to bring all councilors under the supervision of the local government chairmen as the local government coordinator of the campaign and route all through his/her approval and form the structure of every ward/polling unit as per attached template”.
Reacting, Hon Muslihu, who is also the National Chairman Of National Progressives Councillors Forum (NPCF), appreciated the honour and assured commitment to work hard towards mobilising voters in the north to support and ensure the success of Tinubu/Shettima presidential ambition in two weeks time.
Muslihu, who noted the various efforts made by the APC’s led administration at all levels to improve the lives of Nigerians, assured of the consolidation and sustenance of such efforts if Tinubu/Shettima succeed in the presidential election.
While praying for more peace and prosperity to Kano State and Nigeria as a whole, the councillor called for more support to the APC for more dividends of democracy.
