IN the News Point Nigeria website broadcast of 19th December, 2024, we published a news story titled: “EXCLUSIVE: DSS Operatives Invade NBS Office, Arrest CEO Over Ransom Survey Report – Website Shut Down Not Hacked”, which made uncomplimentary reference to the Department Of State Security (DSS).
The said publication is hereby retracted in its entirety as all the defamatory statements contained therein which made reference to Department Of State Security (DSS) are completely untrue, this newspaper was misled by asource in the NBS.
We sincerely apologise for publishing the above news story and hereby tender our unreserved apology to the Department Of State Security (DSS), for the embarrassment which the above publication must have caused to the institution’s impeccable image and character.
