OFFICERS of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone B of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) in Kaduna State have impounded 61 smuggled Sports Utility Vehicles, textile products and drugs with a total Duty Paid Value of N2.8 billion. A FEDERAL Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, has adjourned an alleged procurement fraud case involving ex-Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele. NO fewer than 32 bills have been tabled before the Senate and the House of Representatives for the creation of new universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education since the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, News Point Nigeria gathered. THE President/Chief Executive Officer, Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has said that the $20bn Dangote refinery in Lekki, Lagos would start with the refining of 350,000 barrels per day of crude oil. ARMED bandits on Friday abducted over 100 persons, mostly women and children in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
