A 25-YEAR-OLD, Umar Kabir, has died in a well at Gudantile Village in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State. A 25-YEAR-OLD woman, Rahama Sulaiman, has been arrested by the police in Kano for allegedly kidnapping her six-year-old daughter, Hafsat Kabiru, and demanding N3 million ransom from her husband. SEVEN people have been feared killed and several others hospitalised after drinking a tea suspected to have been made with a local leaf known as Zakami at a wedding ceremony in Kano. THE National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, (NAHCON) has assigned Max Air as the airline to airlift the 5,917 intending pilgrims of Kano state to Saudi Arabia during this year’s Hajj exercise.
