IN a gruesome case of murder sending shock waves through Anadariya Village in the Bebeji Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State, a 20-year-old pregnant woman has been found dead by the roadside. GUNMEN have kidnapped two members of the family of the village head of Nasarawa in Tsanyawa Local Government of Kano State. Those kidnapped are his wife, Halima Kabiru, 38, and his son, Dahiru Kabiru, who is 20 years old. THE Kano State High Court 2 presided over by Justice Yusuf Ubale has sentenced two men, Samaila Salisu and Aminu Salisu, to death by hanging for killing one Ibrahim Alhassan. The convicts, who are residents of Magangara village in Kura LGA of Kano State, stormed the residence of Ibrahim Alhassan with the intention to commit armed robbery and in the process shot him to death. THE Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje-led Executive Council in Kano State has approved the formation of a 17-member Transition Committee to hand over to the incoming administration in the state. A STATE High Court in Kano has ordered the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority from revoking, interfering or touching the Kano Golf Club’s land. KANO State Police Command has arrested 29 suspects in connection with criminal conspiracy, mischief by fire, and theft. The suspects are believed to have attacked the residence of a popular musician Dauda Adamu Abdullahi (Rarara) and the All Progressive Congress (APC) State Secretariat in Kano following Saturday’s governorship and state assembly election.
