THE Independent National Electoral Commission has said that information in the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System used for February 25 presidential poll is intact. The electoral commission lead counsel, Tanimu Inuwa, gave the assurance on Tuesday at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, while opposing an application filed by the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on BVAS deployed in the presidential poll. FORMER deputy senate president on trial in London for allegedly plotting to harvest a street trader’s kidney for his sick daughter told the court on Tuesday he feared he was being “scammed”. THE Supreme Court has affirmed Akanimo Udofia as the authentic governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, as it dismissed the suit filed by Senator Ita Enang seeking to nullify the primary that produced Udofia. THE Independent National Electoral Commission has released the full list of members-elect of the 10th Senate. The National Assembly elections were held last Saturday, February 25, 2023, alongside the presidential election. TEN members of a family have died in a road accident along the Kaduna-Kachia highway while returning from a wedding in Kano State. The tragic accident happened near a village called Makyelli near Idon on their way to Kachia town around 5 pm on Sunday.
