A COASTER bus has caught fire in front of Eagle Square in Abuja. The incident which happened on Tuesday night sent passers-by scampering for safety as the vehicle went into flames. JUSTICE Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted the request of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to protect the identity of witnesses in a suit against the suspended deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari. NIGERIA is now second highest among countries with a high number of maternal deaths in the world, a new report from the World Health Organisation, WHO has disclosed. THE Federal Government on Thursday revealed that Nigeria will spend N22.4 billion feeding inmates in correctional centres nationwide. This is according to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Dr Shuaib Belgore, who disclosed this at a two-day High Conference on Decongestion and Corrections Management in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
