THE Nigerian Correctional Service has remained silent over the whereabouts of no fewer than 350 inmates who escaped from the Suleja and Maiduguri correctional facilities in 2024, following severe flooding and rainfall. However, Vice President Kashim Shettima has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Kyari and his family, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of Fatima’s soul. Shettima also prayed for strength for the family to endure this profound loss, noting the tragedy of losing a daughter in the prime of her life.
