LILIANA Muhammad, a 62-year-old woman from Bulgaria has graduated from Quranic school in Kano state. Mrs Muhammad has been in Kano for over 30 years after marrying a Hausa businessman, the late Alhaji Ibrahim Sambo in Bulgaria. This newspaper reports that the mother of two had embraced Islam about a decade ago and since then began to learn the holy book, which according to her, is a guide to her life. Narrating her sojourn to graduation from the Quranic school, Mrs Muhammad said she started learning as private lessons at home from a female teacher in view of her age.…
