THE police in Ogun State have arrested a 33-year-old mother, Olaide Adekunle, who allegedly sold her 18-month-old baby for N600,000 to pay off a loan she obtained from a microfinance bank. The buyer, now at large, was said to have bought the baby in Lagos. SOME gunmen have reportedly kidnapped three persons in the Igoba area of Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. It was gathered that the kidnappers stormed the area on Thursday night and abducted four men but one of the victims escaped. THE Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development has confirmed the collapse of an “unapproved” seven-storey building under construction collapsed on Banana Island in the Ikoyi area of the state. THE Federal High High Court sitting in Lagos has struck out the Federal Government’s suit seeking to recover and forfeit the sum of N70trillion it alleged was stashed in 29 bank accounts by some looters.
