BRENTFORD striker Ivan Toney has been banned from football for eight months after he accepted breaking Football Association betting rules. Toney has also been charged £50,000 and warned about his future conduct for 232 breaches of the FA’s betting rules. Nauman Hussain, 33, the former service manager for Prestige Limousine, now faces up to 15 years in prison. MONTANA is set to become the first US state to ban Chinese-owned media giant TikTok from personal devices. Governor Greg Gianforte signed the ban into law on Wednesday. It is due to take effect on 1 January. The video-sharing platform says the ban “infringes on the First Amendment rights of the people of Montana”. EIGHT out of 10 South African school children struggle to read by the age of ten, an international study has found. South Africa ranked last out of 57 countries assessed in the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study, which tested the reading ability of 400,000 students globally in 2021. IRANIAN authorities on Monday executed five people over “armed drug smuggling” in the south of the country, the judiciary reported.
