THE number of fatalities from the bomb blast in Gwabro village, in the Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State, has increased to eight after two more women died from injuries sustained from the blast. The blast occurred during Eid-el-Kabir celebrations and was caused by a locally made improvised explosive device (IED). SEVERE flood has hit homes and business outlets in Bachure New Extension, a residential community in Jimeta, Yola North Local Area of Adamawa State. NO fewer than one person has been confirmed dead and two others injured following a bandit attack on Muslim worshippers during Isha (night) prayers in Dole Moriki village, Moriki District of Zurmi Local Government Area, Zamfara State. SUSPECTED bandits have reportedly killed six people and abducted 116 farmers in Danmuntari and other villages in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
