AN improvised explosive device (IED) has claimed the life of an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abubakar Nurudeen, in Jakana, Konduga Local Government Area, along the Maiduguri-Damaturu road, Borno State.
