THE Nasarawa State Police Command says its operatives have arrested a 21-year-old suspected female arms runner who was en route to supply ammunition to terrorists in local government areas known for terror activities. THE National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) said that kidnapping for ransom has reduced by 16.3 percent in 2024, compared to the previous year. The national coordinator of the NCTC, Maj.-Gen. Adamu Garba Laka, announced this during a press briefing on Thursday. He said while the incidences have reduced the number of victims have increased by 0.27 percent.
