OFFICERS of the Kano State Fire Service had a six-hour specialized rescue operation to bring down a 27-year-old man from the top of a long steel transmission tower of the ARTV Television Station in the state. THE Police in Kano State say they have arrested 93 suspects for alleged thuggery during electioneering in the state. The Commissioner of Police, Mamman Dauda, stated this in a statement by the spokesman for the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, on Friday. NO fewer than 18 trafficked persons have been rescued by officers of the Nigerian Navy at Rijiyar Lemu in Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State.
