SOME armed men suspected to be kidnappers have abducted seven travellers, close to the Ipele community, along the Owo-Benin highway in Ondo State. According to a source, the victims were coming from a state in the South-South region and heading for Akure, the Ondo State capital when the incident occurred over the weekend. NO fewer than 30 passengers lost their lives in a road crash that occurred on Saturday evening at Mile 49, along the Lagos-Ore Expressway near Ore, in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State. FIVE farmers have been reportedly murdered by armed men in the Ajegunle Powerline community in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. The victims were said to be labourers from Plateau and Kaduna states working on the farmlands.
