BFO4SIM-Ngozi Support Group Condemns Blackmail Against Leader, Felix Obuah

The  BFO 4 SIM-NGOZI Support  Group has condemned in its entirety the resort to cheap blackmail against its leader, Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah.

The frontline support group that has always promoted the good efforts of Bro Obuah made this known in a press statement signed by the Director, Media and Publicity, Nwokoma Messiah, Thursday.

While reacting to an interview granted to a radio house by a former House of Assembly member and Commissioner in Rivers state Hon. Elemchuku Ogbowu wherein he stated that Bro. Felix Obuah has joined the Nyesom Wike group to leave the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

Hon. Ogbowu also stated in the interview that Bro Felix Obuah has not used his privileged position and closeness to the former Governor of the state to assist the people of Ogba land as well as ONELGA people at large a position which the BFO believes is not a true reflection of what Bro Obuah has done not just for the people of Ogba land and ONELGA, but the entire Orashi land.

The statement said that while it believes in the freedom of citizens to air out that their minds, they should not use the freedom to resort to mendacity aimed at misleading the people.

The group said it is not unaware of the plans by some persons who despite the positions they have held in government refused to benefit their people but today want to use the political situation in Rivers state for their benefits.

It warned politicians especially from Onelga  to desist from the politics of “pull him down” stressing that Bro Felix Obuah is not a politician who courts enemies.

It said while other leaders chose to erect their mansions and invest in bigger cities, Obuah due to the love he has for his people has chose to remain a village man. Other leaders run from Omoku to abscond responsibilities, Obuah is always at home attending to the needs of the common man and the aged.

The group added that the fact that the governor is having differences with his predecessor and current minister should not imply that everybody should begin taking sides and burning bridges of friendship.

The group described Bro Felix Obuah as a pragmatic leader who has respect and regard for political leadership and will always maintain such stance especially with the intervention of the President who Governor Sim Fubara also has utmost respect for.

The Bro Felix Obuah Organisation also advised the Governor to beware of people who have become emergency friends but will easily jump ship as soon as they get the least opportunity to back stab.

While reiterating its  support and regards to the state Governor Fubara, the group also stressed its unalloyed support and respect for the Honourable Minister of FCT Barr. Nyesom Wike describing both leaders as a blessing to the state and the country at large.
