A FORMER Executive Director of Nigerian Port Authority, Alhaji Zubairu AbdulHamid Dambatta, has died.
Dambatta was also a special assistant on petroleum matters to President Obasanjo.
A family source told News Point Nigeria that, Dambatta died in Kano after a brief illness at the age of 75.
According to the source, the deceased is survived by a wife, children and grandchildren.
He will be buried in accordance to Islamic rites at the Usman Bin Affan Mosque, Gadon Kaya by 1pm.
May the soul of the deceased rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. Amin.
