KANO state All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidates, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has visited the campaign office of Tinubu/Shettima, the party’s presidential flag bearer for the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Gawuna was received by over 2600 Tinubu/Shettima support groups under the leadership of the Director, North West, Tinubu/Shettima campaign support group, Dr Baffa Babba Dan Agundi.

The Kano deputy governor commended Dan Agundi for his organization, steadfastness and the continuous support he renders to the support groups and the party at large.

Gawuna said he is convinced the APC will win Kano and Nigeria  as evident in the mass registration records of the party faithfuls whom are expected to cast all their votes for the party in the coming polls.

He confessed that, when Dan Agundi earlier stated that he would organize a one million man march for the presidential and guber candidates in Kano, a few of them were skeptical.

“We were doubtful of the possibility to mobilize 1 million people by Dan Agundi. But to our surprise, the 1 million people turned out to be over 2 million”

“The same Dan Agundi promised the governor and the party that, he will organize more when Tinubu comes to Kano. To our surprise again, when Tinubu came, the turnout was unbelievable in many political ages in Kano”

“Now Dan Agundi has promised the 3rd coming of Tinubu will be overwhelming and nobody doubts that”, Gawuna stressed.

The Governorship candidate while expressing his happiness to Dan Agundi mobilisation prowess, prayed for a aversion of a stampede during the next gathering.

The Party and the Director-General of Gawuna Campaign Council, Engr Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi and former Secretary to the State Government and the Party’s Secretary, Hon Ibrahim  Zakari Sarina both commended Dan Agundi and the support groups for a job well done.

They also urged the support groups to sustain the tempo of registering more people into APC for the success of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
