Despite facing allegations of corruption, Akpabio’s impeccable record of service and leadership makes him a compelling choice for the position.
In his eight years as Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Akpabio transformed the state from a backwater to a major economic hub, attracting foreign investments and creating job opportunities for the people. His administration also invested heavily in infrastructure development, building roads, bridges, and other critical infrastructure that have continued to benefit the people of the state.
