LOYALTY has been described as one of the secrets of any successful Public Relations (PR) practitioner in Nigeria and beyond.

    BORNO PATRIOTS

This was stated by a public relations guru and publisher of a book: “An introduction to Strategic Communication”, Dr Sule Ya’u Sule, which was presented at a public lecture on Thursday at Nicon Luxury, Abuja.

“What I learnt in about three decades of my career as a PR practitioner is to be loyal to your boss. In fact, if there is more than 100 percent loyalty, just be that – it pays”’, Sule stressed.

Dr Sule, who was sharing his experience with the audience at the occasion added that, understanding his bosses and the mastery of the job has been the secret of his success to many state governors he had served.

On the book, he said it x-rayed the dynamics of journalism which has undergone several transformations, hence the need to educate and enlighten the practitioners the current trend in the profession.

On his part, the book reviewer, spokesperson to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Malam Garba Shehu described the book as an epitome of knowledge in strategic communication.

He added that the title of that book “Introduction to Strategic Communication” doesn’t do justice to the content, therefore, it should be changed to a better name.

    Happy Birthday

He further stressed that he considers the book highly educative and advised every practitioner to read it.

In his remarks, Senator Malam Ibrahim Shekarau said, in the last twenty years he has worked with Sule, they have never disagree for a minute.
