Akobo and a leadership delegation with representatives from PANA Holdings , PE Energy Ltd , AKD Digital Solutions, as well as our Dr. Arunkumar Ranganathan and team on behalf of our founding member, Infosys.
Our discussions covered the impactful work being conducted by the Energy Consortium in active collaboration with its founding member companies and government partners in accelerating net zero, as well as the recent formation of a Chapter to be based out of our IIT Madras Zanzibar Campus.
We share mutual interest in translation of technologies that have been already demonstrated at scale in India and can be co-developed for markets in Africa.
Daere Akobo, a passionate entrepreneur, business mentor, and philanthropist has been recognized for his contributions to the Energy sector with the African Energy Person of the Year award most recently at the 12th African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year ceremony in Ethiopia.
