THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commence accreditation for journalists and media organizations for the forthcoming general elections.
News Point Nigeria reports that information from the commission website, which said, the accreditation would be conducted only online as manual accreditation is not allowed.
The portal opens from Thursday January 5th and closes on Sunday February 5th, 2023.
It further added that interested media organizations that wish to deploy journalists to cover the election are by this notice expected to apply via:https://imap.inecnigeria.org
The statement added that late submission shall not be entertained as the portal will automatically shut down on Sunday 5th February, 2023 at 5.00pm.
