GUNMEN on Thursday night attacked the convoy of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Ebonyi State, Bernard Odo.
His media aide, Charles Otu, who confirmed the incident to News Point Nigeria via telephone Friday afternoon, said the candidate was returning from a campaign rally when they ran into an ambush at the Rest House area along the Enugu/Abakaliki expressway.
It was gathered that the gunmen opened fire and shot at the driver of the Sienna conveying Odo and two others driving behind them in a mini jeep.
