According to Bindow, he is the first APC elected govenor in Adamawa state but it gladdens his heart to return to his home, the PDP.

“We are formerly PDP members. We made a mistake of leaving but today, we have learnt our lesson, and we are gladly back to the PDP. The peoples party, the party with justice and fairness.

“I am the most suitable person to tell the good people of Nigeria and the world as a whole, who Atiku Abubakar, the Waziri of Adamawa is. Atiku is an honourable man, a man of his words, a man of honour.

“On this note, I wish to appeal to the good people of Kebbi state, the good people of the north and the good people of Nigeria to vote for Atiku Abubakar as president for a better Nigeria.”

Bindow added that if elected, Atiku will open the borders for Kebbi people to continue their businesses with their neighbouring African countries as they have done for many years.

“Atiku is ready to bring back peace and prosperity back to Nigeria, he knows how to do it and he knows how to bring competent people to do it.

“The big crowd here is an attestation that Kebbi state is a PDP state. I thank you all for coming and I appeal to you once again, to vote for PDP in every seat”, he concluded.

News Point Nigeria reported that, Senator Bindow dumped the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Tuesday.

Bindow officially resigned his membership in a letter exclusively obtained by News Point Nigeria, sent to the APC ward chairman of Kolere, Mubi North Local Govt Area, dated January 20, 2023.

The former governor has been said to be planning to leave the APC in recent times following his frosty relationship with some top hierarchy of the party in the state.

But according to Bindow, his decision was as a result of lack of genuine reconciliation of aggrieved stakeholders within the party in Adamawa state, since the unfortunate events of the 2019 general elections and the 2022 APC primary elections.
