GOVERNOR Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has approved Muhammad Hameem Nuhu Sanusi as the new Emir of Dutse with effect from today, Sunday.
This follows the approval of the seven man-committee of the Dutse Emirate Kingmakers, whom unanimously selected Muhammad Hameem as the new Emir of Dutse with all seven votes among the three contenders of the royal seat.
News Point Nigeria learnt that, this approval was later forwarded to Jigawa State Council of Chiefs, which also approved the decision of the Kingmakers
The Council of Chiefs then sent the name of Muhammad Hameem Nuhu and the other two contestants to Jigawa state governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar for his approval, which the governor subsequently approved.
In his good will message to the new Emir, Governor Badaru felicitates with the new Emir and wishes him Allah’s guidance,wisdom, and protection in the cause of his leadership.
