JUST IN: INEC Confirms Postponement Of Governorship, House Of Assembly Polls

THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, March 11.

In a statement on Wednesday night, INEC National Commissioner for Voter Education, Festus Okoye, said the elections will hold on Saturday, March 18.

News Point Nigeria had earlier reported that,INEC has concluded arrangement to postpone the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, March 11.

The polls have now been rescheduled by one week to March 18, 2023, credible sources in the commission told this newspaper.
