THE Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano, has extended its heartfelt condolence to Kano elder statesman and business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata over the death of his wife, Hajia Rabi, who passed away on Saturday, after a protracted illness in Saudi Arabia.
In a condolence message issued to newsmen on Sunday in Kano by the Founder and Chairman Governing Council of the University, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo expressed deep shock over the passing away of Hajiya Rabi.
He described the death of Hajiya Rabi as a huge loss not only to her immediate family but to entire Kano state.
Prof. Gwarzo also comiserated with the family of the deceased, Government and people of Kano state over the death of the billionaire’s wife whom he described as a great mother.
“So, on behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, I wish to extend our condolences to Alhaji Aminu Dantata and family of the deceased, ” Prof. Gwarzo said.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and admit her in Aljannah Firdaus, and grant her husband and entire family the emotional strength to bear the loss.
“May Almighty Allah forgive all her shortcomings and reward her good deeds bundantly with Jannatul Fiddaus,” Prof. Gwarzo said.
The deceased, who left behind five children including Alhaji Tajudeen Dantata, had since been buried in accordance with the Islamic rites in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
