THE Nigeria Football Association (NFF) has charged all State Associations (FA) to conduct elections for their state excos.
The State FAs are implored to organize and conduct credible elections for the emergence of new officers.
According to a statement by the Nigeria Football Federation’s Head, Member Association and Specials Duties, Ali Abubakar Muhammad, the election is expected to take place between February and March, 2023.
He further charged all state FAs to foward list of elected members to the General Secretary.
Muhammad then reminded all the state FAs that elections of local football council is of paramount importance as a prelude to state FA elections.
News Point Nigeria also gathered that state FAs that have elected officers whose tenures have not expired, are expected to send a duly signed list of the elected officials to the office of the General Secretary, Nigeria Football Federation.
