News Point Nigeria had reported that a hacker had on Wednesday attacked the state government website: www.ogunstate.gov.ng.
A check by our correspondent on Wednesday afternoon showed that the website, www.ogunstate.gov.ng, has been taken over by the hacker.
“Hacked by Aliester Crowley. Update your security. Greetings from Maldives,” the website homepage showed at about 1:15 pm.
The hacker also posted confidential govt correspondences randomly on the site.
It was later learnt that the website was attacked by a group known as Aleister Crowley. The hackers who took over the site wrote: ‘ANONGHOST. Hacked by Aleister Crowley’ much later.
