SDP National Vice Chairman, Alkali Dumps Party For APC In Jigawa

THE National Vice Chairman of the Social Democratic Party SDP and Jigawa North, Senatorial Candidate of the party, Senator Mohammed Alkali, Sardaunan Gumel has dumped the SDP and his political aspirations to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement by the Special Adviser, Media and Public Relations, Habibu Nuhu Kila, issued Tuesday and made available to News Point Nigeria, Senator Alkali said his decision was informed by the quality of good leadership of the party, good governance, prudence as well as the style of leadership of the Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar.

He then promised mobilize his massive follower and work towards the success of the APC in  forth general elections.

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, who received Senator Alkali at Government House Dutse, expressed his gratitude and described the occasion as monumental political development the to the party and the state.

He  assured him of inclusiveness in all the affairs of the APC as bonafide member.
