SENIOR Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil Branch congratulates the new Vice Chancellor, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai and the new University Bursar Alhaji Aminu Tukur Halilu on their appointment and assumption of duty.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Kano over the weekend, the chairperson of the branch, Comrade Isma’il Hussain, urged the new Vice Chancellor to restore good industrial relations between all stakeholders with a view to transforming the University for the better.
According to him, the association welcomes the appointment of Prof. Yakasai, condideting his experience and immense contributions to the development of the University right from inception.
The Chairperson also called on the new Vice Chancellor to ensure due process and that respect for University books shall be the guiding principle of his administration.
The association, while congratulating Prof. Yakasai urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by the by everybody in the university.
