    Tambuwal Posts 25 Permanent Secretaries, 26 Directors General

    GOVERNOR Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has approved the posting/redeployment of fifty-one serving and new Permanent Secretaries and Directors-General.

    Twenty-five Permanent Secretaries affected were posted accordingly. They are: Muhammad Sani Audu, Asihatu Hassan, Salisu A. Shehu and Tanko U. Garba; moved from Min. of Culture and Tourism, Min. of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Devt, Min. of Industry, Trade and Investment as well as Min. of Energy and Petroleum Resources respectively; to Min. for Local Governments, Min. of Youth and Sports Development,  Min. of Internal Security and Min. of Works

    Others from the administration department: Lawal Sadiq Sanusi, Usman Buhari Sani, Aminu Magaji, Kulu Nuhu, Bello Adamu Goronyo, Luba Usman, Abdulganiyu Muhammad, Umaru Muhammad Yabo, Kabiru Umar Imam, Mahmoud Jabbi Kilgori and Mu’azu Garba Sambo. They are now to occupy their new positions at: Ministries for Basic and Secondary Education, Min. for Religious Affairs, SOGIS, Min. for Home Affairs , Min. of Energy and Petroleum Resources, SDGs, Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Min. of Culture and Tourism, Admin and General Services Dept, Political Affairs Dept. and  Min. for Rural Development.

    The following Permanent Secretaries too from administration department have been posted as follows: Malami Abubakar Magaji, Aliyu Muhammad Yaro, Lawali Zagi Kebbe, Umar Abubakar Abdulnasir, Usman Abdullahi Mustapha, Nasiru Bello Mutassibi, Imamatu Muhammed Wali, Abdullahi Moyi, Bello Aliyu Tambuwal and Abubakar Shehu Salisu will now occupy their new positions at the SADP, Min. of Industry, Trade and Investment, LGSC, Min. of Information, IFAD, Min. of Health, Min. of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Devt, SUBEB and Agency for Mass Education and Bureau for Public Procurement.

    Meanwhile, the following Directors General: Nasiru Alhaji Aliyu, Dr. Hafsat Buhari Galadima, Malami Umar Tambuwal, Dr Sa’ad Hassan Ismail, Kabiru Shehu Alkanci, Labaran Aliyu Isa, Hussaina Abdulrazak and Kulu Muhammad Suleiman will move from SEMA and the administration department to: Commodity Board, SEMA, RAAMP, Poultry Development Agency, Hisbah Commission, SOSMA, Abuja/Kaduna Liaison Office and Female Education Board respectively

    Their counterparts: Aminu Liman, Almustapha Alh. Bello, Gado Yusuf Kware, Shehu Muhammad Goronyo, Yahaya Muhammad Daniya, Fatima A. Tafida, Muhammad Abubakar Danchadi, Abubakar Bello Umar, Amina Abdu Gusau, Haidara Sada and

    Umar Faruk Musa are posted to: SEPA, Mass Transit, Directorate of Research and Documentation, Human Rights and NGOs, Scholarship Board, Facility Management, Debt Management Dept, SPORA, SOCHEMA, Public Private Partnership and Tenancy Control Commission respectively.

    Happy Birthday

    At the same time, Sani Abdullahi, Abubakar Muhammad, Shi’itu Muhammad Bello, Fatima Usman Ibrahim, Muhammad Nasiru Abubakar, Abubakar Alhaji Tambuwal and Aminu Abdullahi Abubakar; all from the administration department will now man: SOSMEDA, Housing Corporation, ICT Directorate, Teachers Service Board Parks and Gardens, Malaria Elimination Agency and Press Affairs (Deputy Governors’ Office) in that order.

    A statement by the state Head of Civil Service, Abubakar Muhammad (mni), while stating that “the affected Permanent Secretaries and Directors-General are to report to their new places of posting latest by Thursday, 25th May, 2023.

    Added that: “the Director, Electrical/Mechanical, Ministry of Works is to oversee the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport.
