THE Presidency has announced the disengagement of Mr. Fegho John Umunubo, who until now served as the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy in the Office of the Vice President.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information and Public Relations at the State House, on Monday, made available to News Point Nigeria.
According to the statement, Umunubo’s disengagement takes immediate effect, and he no longer holds any position or represents the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in any capacity.
“All stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy, at home and abroad, as well as the general public are hereby notified that Fegho John Umunubo… has been disengaged with immediate effect,” the statement read.
The Presidency further warned the public against transacting or engaging with Umunubo in the name of the administration, stressing that anyone who does so would be acting at his or her own risk.
This development comes as the Tinubu administration continues to make adjustments in key positions across different sectors in line with its governance priorities.
Stakeholders in the digital and creative economy have been advised to take note of the change and await further directives on future engagements from the Presidency.
