THE International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has announced its plan to launch the Crystal Sam Ogbuku Foundation in Kenya, coinciding with the UN-Habitat summit.
This foundation is a testament to IAWPA’s commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and sustainable development globally and also in recognition of her peace advocacy efforts which seeks to promote the welfare of the African Girl Child.
A statement signed by the International Spokesman of IAWPA, Amb Emmanuel Nkweke said during the summit, Crystal Sam Ogbuku is expected to deliver a keynote speech, sharing her vision for a more peaceful and harmonious world.
Her speech will focus on the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving sustainable development and promoting peace which will help the African Girl Child grow and realize her potential.
“We are thrilled to launch the Crystal Sam Ogbuku Foundation in Kenya, a country that has made significant strides in promoting sustainable development and addressing urbanization challenges,” said Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, International Spokesman of IAWPA.
“We believe that this foundation will play a vital role in promoting peace and sustainable development in Africa and beyond, he added.
The launch of the Crystal Sam Ogbuku Foundation which is expected to take place at the Gigiri Express hotel II from 29th to 30th May 2025, is a significant milestone for IAWPA, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to promoting peace and sustainable development globally.
In a related development, Amb. Dr. Fred Akama, Country Director of Iawpa in Kenya said all is set to welcome the international community and development partners that will make the ceremony a success adding that the Foundation will pay her first visit to Malala the UN Peace Prize winner by the end of year.
