THE President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a committed nation builder with a clear and progressive vision for the state and the country at large.
Professor Gwarzo conveyed the congratulatory message in a statement personally signed by him and made available to News Point Nigeria on Monday.
In the message, the renowned educationist commended Governor Yusuf’s leadership style, noting that his performance within just two years in office has been both credible and commendable, particularly in the areas of governance, public service delivery and inclusive development.
According to Gwarzo, the governor’s achievements so far stand as a clear testimony to his vision, dedication and unwavering commitment to moving Kano State forward.
He stated that Governor Yusuf’s focus on good governance, people-oriented policies and sustainable development has continued to reflect across key sectors of the state, earning him the confidence and support of the people.
“Your clear vision and steadfast commitment to the people of Kano are visible to all,” Gwarzo said. “In just two years, you have recorded remarkable achievements that speak volumes of your passion for service and your love for the state.”
He described the governor’s approach to leadership as a demonstration of true patriotism and genuine nation building.
“This is true patriotism and genuine nation building,” he added.
Professor Gwarzo further acknowledged Governor Yusuf’s efforts at restoring public confidence in governance, noting that his purposeful leadership and inclusive policies have inspired renewed hope among residents of the state.
He said the governor’s style of administration has helped reconnect government with the people, while reinforcing trust in public institutions and decision-making processes.
“Through purposeful leadership and inclusive governance, you have continued to inspire hope and confidence among the people of Kano,” he said.
Gwarzo also used the occasion to offer prayers and goodwill to the governor on behalf of his family and the entire MAAUN Group of Universities.
