Abba Kabir Yusuf was declared the winner and governor-elect of the state. This victory is not just a win for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) but for the people of Kano, who have suffered under the weight of poor governance and underdevelopment in recent years.

Abba’s victory presents an opportunity for the people of Kano to turn the tide and change the narrative. The governor-elect has a wealth of experience in governance, having served in various capacities. During his service as the Commissioner for Works and Housing, he oversaw several projects that had a positive impact on the people of Kano, including the construction of flyovers, underpasses, schools, and road infrastructure.
