DR Daere Akobo, Chairman of PANA Holdings, has been recognized as one of the world’s top business leaders for 2025 by White Page International. He will attend the Global Business Conclave 2025 today, Friday, February 28, 2025, at the House of Lords, The Palace of Westminster in London.
The Global Business Conclave 2025 brings together successful business leaders from around the world. The event will feature keynote speeches, delegate interactions, short interviews, networking opportunities, a Gala Dinner, and the Global 100 CEO & Leadership Awards ceremony.

Dr. Akobo has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started his career at the International Petroleum Company of Nigeria before working at TOTAL E&P and then General Electric Nigeria, where he was named a “top talent” in Africa after significantly increasing sales.
In 2009, he founded his own company, Plant Engineering Limited (now called PE Energy Limited), to better serve Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
Dr. Akobo studied Applied Physics and later attended prestigious business schools including Harvard, INSEAD, and Manchester.
He has won several awards from European business partners and has become an important contact for international companies wanting to do business in Nigeria.
