THE Department of State Services (DSS) on Wednesday arraigned four suspected terrorists before a Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in the Isabo area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The suspects – Aliu Abubabar, Abubabar Usman, Abubabar Amadu, Adamu Aliu – were arrested on December 9, 2022 for terrorism and kidnapping within the jurisdiction of the court. THE Appeal Court on Monday, reserved judgement on the Osun State Governorship Appeal filled by Governor Ademola Adeleke. Adeleke had on February 9th, appealed the judgement of the Osun State Governorship Tribunal which nullified his election. The tribunal ruled in favour of a former governor of the state Gboyega Oyetola. OPERATIVES of the Ogun Police Command have rescued a journalist, Seun Oduneye, from kidnappers after a gun battle which reportedly lasted for 45 minutes. Oduneye, who’s the publisher of Issues Magazine, was kidnapped at Mobalufon area of Ijebu Ode on Thursday.
