LAGOS state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has continued to thrill the electorates in Oshodi, Mushin, Ikeja, Surulere and other areas with the newly activated night campaign that has lightened up the state.
The night campaign, which entails an audio visual projection of the state governor’s achievements on walls at different areas of the state has gotten the voters addicted to the walls in these areas.
Groups of voters dancing to the campaign audio visuals have filled the streets of Lagos recently, with many of them making the wall screen a fun sit-out deep into the night.
Speaking on the project, one of the coordinators said, the purpose of the exercise is to showcase the progressive achievements of the state governor on various aspects of human lives to the people, wherever they are and whenever.
A group of Igbo traders and market women who spoke to News Point Nigeria, described Sanwo-Olu as “a true friend of Igbo”, noting that the Governor had never been hostile to non-Yoruba residents living in the State.
They added that, the traders would work for the victory in their respective polling station, stating, “Sanwo-Olu is a good man and has demonstrated that he is a lover of Igbo. We have resolved to support the Governor for second term because of his performance and his economic policies that have supported our businesses. Through this forum, we are assuring the Governor that we shall sing the song of victory together with him.”
