THE Independent National Electoral Commission in Zamfara has declared the state’s central senatorial zone, Gusau/ Tsafe and Gummi/ Bukkuyum elections inconclusive. In Zamfara central senatorial zone PDP’s Aliyu Ikra Bilbis is leading Kabiru Marafa. Bilbis got 93,120 votes while Marafa scored 79,444 votes. About 57,701 votes were cancelled in polling units in Gusau, Tsafe , Bungudu and Maru local government areas. However, the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress Bola Tinubu has defeated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party after he polled 298, 396 against Atiku’s 193,978.

GOMBE State Governor,  Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with his Aide- De- Camp ( ADC), SP Zulyadaini Abba over the death of his father,  Alhaji Abubakar Abba. SOKOTO State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, is awaiting his fate in Saturday’s senatorial election in Sokoto South. Tambuwal contested the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). THE Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has emerged winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Kebbi with 285,175 votes. The State Collation Officer, Prof. Usman Saidu, while presenting the result in Birnin Kebbi said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, polled 248,088 votes. GOVERNOR Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has lost the election for the Southern Senatorial District of Taraba State to David Jimkuta of the All progressives Congress (APC). Declaring the results of the election on Monday in Wukari, the Independent National Electoral Commission Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Solomon Adeyeye, said Jimkuta scored 85,415 votes to defeat Gov. THE Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, leading the PDP’s presidential flagbearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in election results from 10 out of 14 local government areas of Zamfara state so far announced by INEC Tinubu scored 214,074, while the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar scored 104,828. THE National Independent Electoral Commission(INEC) has stopped the coalition of Kebbi central senatorial election results following the disappearance of the returning officer for Marafa ward, in Birnin Kebbi. He was asked to step aside and reconcile some discrepancies in the result figures he brought to the collation centre when he disappeared and could not be traced since Sunday. ASIWAJU Bola Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is leading Atiku Abubakar, his Peoples Democratic Party rival in Sokoto State. Although there are 23 Local Government Areas in the state, Tinubu has gathered most of the votes in 10 LGAs. SENATOR Abdul Ningi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of the Bauchi Central Senatorial District election. Ningi polled 104,878 votes to defeat his close opponent Uba Nana of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who got 84,621 votes. THREE ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Donga local government area of Taraba State have been abducted by unknown gunmen, News Point Nigeria gathered. They were kidnapped in the late hours of Saturday during the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections. A PREGNANT woman, identified as Shamsiya Ibrahim on Saturday slumped and died while waiting on the queue to vote in Tsafe Area of Zamfara State. News Point Nigeria gathered that when the pregnant lady slumped, she was rushed to Tsafe General Hospital where she was confirmed dead upon arrival. THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has ordered re-election in nine polling units at Ganaja Village in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi. According to Alhaji Haliru Sule, Kogi INEC Head of Voters Education and Publicity, the order became imperative as scheduled elections couldn’t hold in those units due some logistic problems. PRESIDENTIAL Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has emerged victorious at his polling unit in Jada, Adamawa State. Announcing the results at the end of the voting process, the Presiding officer, Nalawu Phillip, announced that Atiku scored a total of 282 votes as against 57 votes scored by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, his All Progressive Congress (APC) rival.
