THE Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun has ordered an investigation into the boat mishap in Kogi State. Scores of persons were feared dead in the accident that happened on Friday. THE committee set up by the Edo government to recover government assets says over 200 vehicles belonging to the state are missing. THE Supreme Court has nullified the National Lottery Act 2005 enacted by the National Assembly. In a unanimous judgment of a seven-member of the apex court, read by Justice Mohammed Idris, held that the National Assembly lacked the powers to legislate on issues relating to lottery and games of chance.
