THE governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Rivers State, Dumo Lulu-Briggs, escaped assassination attempt on Saturday during a visit to Etche Local Government Area of the state. Lulu-Briggs and his team had gone to Etche LGA to ascertain reports of an attack on the Accord secretariat in the area when unidentified gunmen reportedly attacked his convoy. RESIDENTS of Obubura community in Cross River State are calling on the state government to come to their aid urgently amid a cholera outbreak that is said to have claimed over 60 lives. THE Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has rated Supreme Court of Nigeria, Court of Appeal, Ministry of Education, Police Service Commission and 50 other MDAs as most corrupt in Nigeria. THE Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has denied exporting 17.877 million barrels of crude oil between 2016 and 2020 without proper documentation.
