THE immediate past Governor of the Adamawa State, Senator Muhammad Umar Jibrilla Bindow has congratulated the Governor of the state, Rt Hon Umaru Fintiri on his re-election by the people of Adamawa to serve for another term in the just concluded elections.
Bindow in a congratulatory message, issued and signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Bindow Support Group (BSG), Nuruddeen Kama, Wednesday, also praised the resilience and calmness of the people of the state.
The former governor praised the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for preserving democracy in the state and the country at large.
The former Governor also urged Fintiri to use this opportunity to heal the people of the state in the aftermath of the election by carrying everybody along and provide dividends of democracy to all within the state.
He further advised the governor to continue the massive infrastructural investments in all sectors in order to grow the economy of the state.
“In the spirit of the month of Ramadan, I enjoins all citizens of Adamawa to eschew peace and tolerance by giving the re-elected governor full support and prayers to deliver on his mandate”, Bindow added.
